This policy covers the Bible App Studio service (studio.straighttruthpress.com). Apps you create with the Studio are branded by, and governed by the privacy policy of, your own organization.

Who we are

Bible App Studio (the "Service") is operated by Straight Truth Press, LLC ("STP", "we", "us"). Contact: info@straighttruthpress.com.

What we collect

Account information you provide when you register: your name, organization, email address, and a password (stored only as a salted hash — we never see your plain password).
App designs you create: your branding choices, selected translations, reading plans, and any draft you save, so we can build your app.
Files you upload: Bible translations and related metadata you submit for inclusion in your app.
Basic server logs: IP address and request information, kept for security and abuse-prevention.

We do not collect payment card details. Payments for optional paid services are processed by Stripe; we receive only a confirmation, never your card number. See Stripe's privacy policy for how they handle payment data.

How we use it

To operate the Service: build, preview, and (if you choose) host or publish your app.
To communicate with you about your account and build requests.
To secure the Service and prevent abuse.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Sharing

We share information only with service providers that help us run the Service (e.g., our hosting provider and Stripe for payments), and where required by law. If you ask us to publish your app to Google Play or the Apple App Store, we share the information necessary to do so with those stores under your own developer account.

Retention

We keep your account and app data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may ask us to delete your account and associated drafts at any time by emailing us.

Your choices & rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting info@straighttruthpress.com. Depending on where you live (e.g., the EU/UK under GDPR, or California under CCPA), you may have additional rights; we honor applicable requests.

Security

Connections use HTTPS. Passwords are hashed. Access to the Service requires a reviewed, approved account. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.

Children

The Service is intended for organizations and adults creating apps, not for use by children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be posted here with a new effective date.
